*Important Rule for vehicle operation*

 This is NOT an off-roading activity. Vehicles must stay on roads  for public vehicle traffic as designated by Myakka River State Park.  Any damages caused by off-roading may be charged against the rental deposit.

Please do NOT ask park employees for information or service relating to this rental. Our rental vehicles will be delivered to our customers inside Myakka River State Park at an agreed upon location - usually the customer's campsite or the RV-trailer parking area in the visitor center parking lot which is just to the left when entering the south gate.  Customers will thus be responsible for their own park entry fees.

Some mapping programs will direct you to the "north gate" of the park which is not open during the week and is hit-or-miss on the weekends.  Please go to the "south gate" which is located at 13208 State Rd 72 (Clark Rd.) Sarasota, FL.

Some cell phone carriers have spotty or non-existent coverage in this state park.  Please try texting us (sometimes that works) or try to get to a land line at the ranger station if a call needs to be made to Gator Trails for any reason.

Room for 4 adults, automatic transmission, power steering, disc brakes, mirrors, horn, turn signals, seat belts (max. park speed limit is 25 mph), cargo bin (4' x 3' x 1')  bluetooth speakers

* Cooler items (48qt cooler with cold ice packs provided and strapped in)

* 1 pair of binoculars and a small first aid kit are provided

* Maybe bring: cookout supplies, sun screen. bug spray, frisbee, outdoor toys

* Maybe bring you own cooler too if you need more cooler space.

* Wear comfortable hiking shoes if hiking trails.
